Mitch Poindexter

Chief Operations Officer

Mitch Poindexter joined Amp Americas as SVP of Corporate Development in 2021. He is responsible for the corporate development, strategy, and M&A activity at the firm. Mitch is also actively involved in a family farming operation near Kansas City.

Prior to joining Amp, Mitch was SVP of Commercial Operations and a member of the board of directors for a retail energy finance firm where he was responsible for corporate development and lending activities. Earlier in his career, Mitch held leadership positions in asset development, origination, marketing and finance at a number of Fortune 500 entities.

Mitch earned an MBA from the University of Houston and also holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Mitch lives in Houston with his wife Jennifer, their two daughters, and one very spirited English bulldog.
